Everything you need to know about Toy Story

Toy Story or Toy Story is an animated film directed by John Lasseter and produced by Pixar and Disney Studios. Released in the United States in 1995, the film was a huge success and received positive reviews. It highlights an innovative story about the adventure of the toys of a little boy named Andy.

As soon as the child leaves his room, all his toys come to life. The story begins on Andy's birthday, a few days before the family moves. The little boy was treated to a new toy, an articulated astronaut figure named Buzz the Lightning. His arrival didn't really enchant Woody, the cowboy, Andy's favorite toy. The rivalry between them began when Woody tried to bring Buzz down in an inaccessible corner of the room. However, when the two toys had to deal with the wickedness of Andy's neighbor Sid, they finally got along. Moreover, it turns out that Woody and Buzz each have their place in the little boy's heart.

The characters of the story

Andy, Sheriff Woody and Astronaut Buzz the Lightning are the main Toy Story characters. But other toys such as the porcelain doll La Bergère, Bayonne the piggy bank and Rex the dinosaur contributed to the success of the story. There are other characters not to be forgotten like Sid, Scud his dog and his mutant toys.

The world of Toy Story

The History of Toys has been a huge hit with the public. The adventure of talking toys continued in Toy Story 2. Directed by John Lasseter, the film was released in 1999.  In 2010, Woody and Buzz fans got a new story in Lee Unkrich's Toy Story 3. The last film entitled Toy Story 4 is out in 2019. It was directed by Josh Cooley.

It should be noted that Toy Story has also become a famous franchise. Spin-off television series have emerged to name but The Adventures of Buzz the Lightning and Buzz the Lightning, the film: The Beginning of Adventures.
