The story:

What panoply could suit Betty better than that of "screen star", since this was really her case? From 1932 to 1939, the Boop Girl, as she was nicknamed, captivated the public of the dark rooms in a series of cartoons considered at the time very daring. Because with her "extra-small" dresses and her falsely ingenious mimics, Betty blew a scorching wind on the cinema of the 30s, at least until the Hayes codes came to assuage her ... Miss Boop will nevertheless remain the only female star in the world of cartoons, a status she has retained to the present day.

 

This figurine is the 6th figurine of the M6 Intérations collection published between 2009 and 2011
