Back-to-school allowance 2017-2018 paid on August 17, 2017

The back-to-school allowance for 2017-18 will be paid on August 17, one day more than last year when it was paid on August 18, 2016.  

Here are the LRA amounts:

06 to 10 years old: €364.09

11 to 14 years old: €384.17

15 to 18 years old: €397.49  

Here are the conditions for obtaining the LRA:

If the child will not be 6 years old until 2018, but returns to CP in September, you will need to provide a certificate of schooling, so ask at your child's school.

If the child is between the ages of 6 and 15, it is paid automatically without any parental action required as long as it is within the resource threshold and your child is in school or an apprentice.

If the child is between the ages of 16 and 18, your child's education will be declared on the FCA website
