The 2018-2019 back-to-school allowance will be paid on August 16, 2018

Our little schoolchildren will enter school for the most part on September 3, 2018.

In order to help children between the age of 6 and 18 in back-to-school expenses, the Back to School Allowance (ARS) will be paid from 16 August 2018.

This allowance is awarded under certain conditions:

- Dependent children must be in school and between the ages of 6 and 18 (the child must be born between 16 September 2000 and 31 December 2012).

For children aged 16 to 18, you must declare schooling on the CAF website.

- Your child must be enrolled in a public or private institution, or with a distance education organization.

- The LRA is subject to resource limitations every year:

$24453 for 1 child,

$30096 for 2 children,

$35739 for 3 children,

then $5643 per additional child

- The amount of the LRA depends on your child's age: 367 between 6 and 10 years, 388 between 11 and 14 years, 401 between 15 and 18 years
